When Your AI Policy Meets Procurement

It has failure modes that do not care about your calendar.

So what do you do with this as a practical person who wants leverage, not debate? You treat ‘policy’ as a feature of the system you are building. You encode it into workflows the way you encode permissions. The rule should not be ‘We do not do X.’ The rule should be ‘The system cannot do X without a human explicitly approving it, and the audit trail makes that approval obvious later.’

In practice, this looks small. It is not a compliance program. It is three decisions.
